The Women in Finance, Mentoring program is aimed at women with approximately 10 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. The key objective of the program is to support the career development of women who already have a significant investment in their career, and the retention of their skills and intellectual capital within the industry.
The program aims to do this by facilitating a mentoring relationship between professional women in middle to senior management with more experienced individuals (both men and women) who have a passion and genuine interest in mentoring.
Women in Finance, Victoria offers its members a unique opportunity to be mentored by some of the most successful individuals in this industry. Navigating for Success is a joint effort of our platinum member and corporate networks which allows mentees to learn from senior leaders of another company than their own. All participants also benefit from a variety of workshops and facilitation, supporting the development of successful mentoring relationships.
We are pleased to announce we have partnered with Whyte and Coaches who will play an instrumental role in facilitating, managing and growing the program.
Whyte and Coach is a national firm specialising in Executive coaching and through their propriety research and experience have developed quality processes and reporting for managing the mentoring and coaching process.
They will provide a skilful facilitation of the program including the management of the matching process and the implementation of workshops and support for the participants throughout their mentoring relationship.
The program is a unique opportunity for mentees to gain new perspectives, ideas and strategies to advance their career. Most will also implement positive changes in their approach to leadership to overcome current challenges and build on their strengths.
