Chairperson
Ha-Dieu is grounded in banking, retirement and investments, with a strong track record of expanding corporate networks and enhancing market credibility. 
Ha-Dieu's vision for the Women in Finance is to be the preferred corporate outsourcing provider in the banking and financial sector, for diversity programs.  On behalf of the committee, Ha-Dieu welcomes all ideas and suggestions regarding events and additional member benefits. President's Address. 
As well as being part of Women in Finance, she is also a Fellow of Finsia.
 
 
Mimi Cavaye
Vice-President
 
Mimi Cavaye is the Practice Manager for Paradigm  Wealth Management.
Mimi is the Practice Development Manager of Paradigm Wealth Management.  Mimi holds a Bachelor of International Studies (Communications and Third World Development) and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Management.  Her involvement with WIFV has created the opportunity to meet like minded professionals in an informal environment and allowed her to contribute her skills to the continuation of the organisation. 

 

 

 
Funda Yalcim
Secretary

Funda is a Senior Associate in leading Melbourne law firm Hall & Wilcox's Financial Services group. Funda's practice focuses on managed investment schemes, financial services regulation, public and private capital raisings, general Corporations Act advice and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Hall & Wilcox, Funda worked as an in-house lawyer at boutique financial services organisation Austock Group.

Funda has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University.  As well as being on the Women in Finance Committee, Funda is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sharon Burke
Treasurer

Sharon Burke is a Partner with PKF - Enterprise Advisers business unit.  Sharon has 20 years experience in the accounting profession and joined PKF in 1998.  Sharon was previously based in Launceston with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. 
 
She specialises in providing taxation and accounting advice to small to medium sized enterprises.

Lisa Ukosich
Committee

Lisa a senior client relationship manager at Rim Securities specialising in fixed interest products.  Lisa has worked in financial services for over 10 years. 

 

Lisa's most recent role was at Business Development Manager at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in the wealth management area. Before joining MSSB in 2004 Lisa worked at Merrill Lynch for 8 years as a client relationship manager in the retail stockbroking   division.

 

Outside of work Lisa enjoys, travel, catching up with friends and has a keen interest in fitness, music and art.  

 
 
Sandra Jacobs

Sandra Jacobs is a Private Client Financial Adviser with leading wealth management firm Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.  

 

Since 2004 she has been the co-member of a team who provide long term wealth creation strategies for high net worth individuals  with a focus on superannuation, leverage and generational succession planning .   Sandra values the importance of team work, and sees WIF VIC as a  unique opportunity to build bonds with  like minded professionals in the finance and related services industry.

 
 
 
Michelle Firth

Michelle Firth is the Victorian State Manger for AAMC Training GroupMichelle has worked in the Banking & Finance Industry since 1992. She has worked for companies including Homeloans, Macquarie Bank, ANZ Direct and ING bank developing her skills and knowledge in areas such as Investment Banking and Retail Lending to include the sales and sales support roles, business strategy, relationship management and product training for Mortgage Brokers.

She is extremely passionate about learning and feels that adult training allows individuals opportunity to progress in their current career or within other desired industries and avenues.
