NEWS & EVENTS - 1st February, 2010
Dear Member & Colleagues,
Happy New Year to our members and welcome to 2010. For many of us 2009 was a year of uncertainty in the Financial Markets and 2010 is showing evidence of favourable conditions and significant improvement in financial conditions. It's the networks of Women in Finance, I am so proud to be part of that brings such wonderful and regular market insights.
Before I move on to 2010 a quick reflection on the wrapping up of 2010. The Christmas Party was an enormous success. We held it at Flinders Lane Gallery and welcomed Claire Harris, Gallery Director who gave members and their guest a floor talk on the "Treasures" art exhibition. We acknowledge the Gallery's generosity in hosting the event and bringing a diverse range of Art to the our community as well as supporting Women in Finance.
The Flinders Lane Gallery has been recognised again in 2009 Australian Achievers Awards as achieving excellence in customer relations and service.
During the evening we announced a few key initiatives such as WIF Honorary Membership, Mentoring program, Toastmasters and CPD Points at our events for the 2010.
Some of these benefits are now available to our members.
Now for 2010...
